⁴⁶ After Husham died, Hadad, son of Bedad, who defeated the Midianites in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king, and the name of his ⌞capital⌟ city was Avith. ⁴⁷ After Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king. ⁴⁸ After Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river succeeded him as king.
